Here's the cut from yesterday's loaf...Cocoa-Caraway Swirl!
Here's another loaf I was playing with this week. The double-slash scoring method is fun and beautiful! Though I sliiightly under-proofed this one (damn this cold house) which likely caused the middle band to split while baking. I don't mind natural fissures - I think it gives the bread a mind of its own.

🥖 Benefits of buying a sourdough loaf whole:
Admittedly, this recipe is also not ready yet. The dough on the left is too difficult to handle, but very tasty. The dough on the right works like a dream, but is not tasty enough. I plan to have one more go before Purim starts next week, for peace of mind, if nothing else. Sometimes you just gotta do something for you, y'know?
